At Girls On The Go, community is everything.
It is so important to us to not only help women through our events, but also to advocate and fundraise for local women’s charities.
So far, we have fundraised over £70,000 for a number of women and children-based charities & will always use our platform to help make a difference.

Winter 2023
The Liverpool Santa Dash
In 2023, we supported 25 members of our community to train for and complete The Liverpool Santa Dash, raising over £5000 for Refugee Women Connect.
Winter 2023
Alder Hey Children’s Hospital
In December 2023, we encouraged our community to bring children’s presents to our festive events to donate to the children at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in a giant Christmas stocking & together, we donated over 120 presents to children in need.
Spring 2024
RASA Merseyside
In March 2024, 55 women from our community volunteered to take part in a 5k parkrun in Liverpool to fundraise for RASA Merseyside . Our community raised more than £6,300 for this charity that provides invaluable support to anyone who has been affected by sexual violence.
Easter 2024
Children Centres
In April 2024, we partnered with Liverpool City Council to donate Easter eggs to Children’s centres across Liverpool for vulnerable children as part of the ‘Easter egg appeal’. Our community helped contribute to over 2500 Easter eggs that were donated across the city.
Autumn 2024
Liverpool Domestic Abuse Services
We had over 150 women run in the Women's 10k & together, we raised over £24,000 for Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service (LDAS).
The money raised will help LDAS to support an extra 300 women in the merseyside area with access to life saving support, providing them with counselling support and abuse group support.
Winter 2024
Zoe's Place Liverpool
Our community helped fundraise over £10,000 for Zoe's Place, a baby hospice providing nurse-led care for babies and young children with life-shortening or life-threatening conditions.
Spring 2025
Liverpool Domestic Abuse Services
Our community came together again to fundraise over £9,200 for LDAS.
