Girls On The Go:
- Yes, I had to add a shameless plug (sue me!). We organize weekly girl-only events for anyone who identifies as a woman. Some of our popular events include painting workshops (wine glass, tote bag, canvas, pottery – you name it, we paint it!), cozy nights (book clubs, board game nights), and socials, bingos, quizzes.
Recovery Runners:
- This amazing community helps individuals of all genders who are in recovery to connect and run together.
Student & Sport Societies:
- If you're going to university, join as many societies as you can that interest you! Try everything and anything!
Dockside Runners & Penny Lane Striders:
- We LOVE a running group, and these are two of the most popular all-gender running groups!
Young Entrepreneurs Club:
- This new community provides support to entrepreneurs aged 18-35, helping to connect them with other entrepreneurs through monthly meetups.
A few extra bits and bobs:
(this is literally just a brain dump i apologise)
My Favourite Places in Liverpool:
Sefton Park, Lark Lane, Bold Street, Albert Docks, Chavasse, Baltic Triangle & Baltic Market, Everton Park (insane view), Palm House, The Municipal, Hope Street / Hardman Street.
Random Facts:
Liverpool has the largest Chinese arch outside of China and also has the oldest Chinese community in Europe. So many films and TV shows are filmed here. You can go into the Liver Building & Town Hall (trust me, it's worth it). Liverpool has the most museums outside of London. "Ta" means thank you, "scran" means food, and "that's boss" means it's great. The Liver Birds are called Bella and Bertie.
